Lanzarote is one of the Canary Islands located off the coast of Africa and administered by Spain. Wind and water have shaped this beautiful archipelago, which UNESCO declared a Biosphere Reserve in October 1993. This "Isla de Fuego", or Isle of Fire, feels like a parallel universe, where the aquamarine ocean, nature and art come together with volcanic cones in a lunar landscape of breathtaking ochre and violet tones.
There are innumerable leisure and sports activities in Lanzarote that allow travelers to enjoy the sea, the interior of the island, hot spots for touring or visit shopping centers in the main towns or their markets.
Lanzarote is a sporting destination all year round, where visitors can practice diving, surfing, windsurfing and sailing.
