Beaches of Mallorca: along several kilometers of coast you will find thousands of beaches, so it´s impossible to visit them all. Majorca holds beautiful natural coves and fantastic sandy beaches which are usually very crowded and have all kinds of services.
Some of the most famous beaches in Majorca are Playa del Muro and Cala d'Or Albega, Playa de Torrent de Pare, a movie-like beach, Cala Varques in Manacor, which is a must see and Caló des Moros, where you can take pictures that will make your friends go green. We could go on, because the list is endless, but it´s better that you discover them all.
Palma de Mallorca: one of the must-see spots in your trip will be the Majorcan capital, where you can visit interesting places like Catedral de la Almudaina or the neighborhoods of Es Jonquet.
Houses and villas in Majorca are the best option for families and groups of friends, and also, the most economical. Castillo de Bellver: very close to Palma we find one of the biggest curiosities of the island: one of the few castles in the world with a circular plan. It was ordered to build King James II, and it holds spectacular views of the place.
The famous Cuevas de Drach and Artà: one of the main attractions of the island are this caves and one of the largest underwater lakes in Europe, where you can sail on a boat and even enjoy a concert of classical music. Not so famous as the former but also of a great beauty are Cuevas de Artá.
Amusement parks: if you travel to Mallorca with children, going to one of its fantastic amusement parks will be a great option to spend a fun family day.
Charming towns: next to impressive beaches or hidden in the amazing Sierra de Tramontana, you will find some really charming villages like Alcudia, Pollensa, Artá, Felanitx, Soller, Capdepera, Puerto de Andratx and Porto Cristo.
The main dilemma of staying in Majorca is which area to choose, as the offer goes from a house on the beach, a rural accommodation in the Sierra, a private villa in some chic area ... The options are endless, but there are basically two differentiated zones, the North zone and the South zone.
