Cala Bassa is one of the most beautiful Calas of Ibiza for its fine, and almost white sand, and clear and shallow waters of a spectacular turquoise. It is ideal for families with children, and a fantastic wild environment without any buildings and surrounded by a lush pine forest where you can take refuge if you want to escape the sun.

Despite being in such a natural environment, it is not a quiet beach since it has a beach club with free access and this makes it quite busy, as well as two bars and two restaurants, restrooms, locker rooms, rental chairs and umbrellas and a lifeguard. You can go by car or from the bus station in San Antonio with the Linea 7.

From Cala Bassa there are catamaran excursions with a glass floor to see the seabed, and for 2 and a half hours there is a tour to the rugged Ibicenca coast until reaching the islet of Es Vedrá, just in front of Cala d’Hort. During the stop you can snorkel or swim quietly and then they will offer you a snack before returning, in total the tour lasts about 6 hours, so you have to schedule it in advance. It’s a nice and fun activity that you can enjoy under a spectacular scenery.
