Costa Dorada

The golden hue of the sand when the sun shines appears to contain small sheets of gold, which is why this name was given to this beautiful coast of southern Cataluña. It runs from the mountains to the sea offering a thousand wonders to discover, including a World Heritage city.

The Costa Dorada comprises an area of the northernmost coast of southern Cataluña. Its capital is the city of Tarragona and as a whole, is one of the main tourist destinations of the Spanish coast. It consists of 90km of coastline and a total of 60 beaches of all kinds, from long beaches of fine golden sand to small secluded and unspoiled, undiscovered coves. In recent years the Costa Dorada has undergone a great development and has taken advantage of tourism growth in a sustainable manner, respecting the environment and nature.
