Known as the Venice of the Costa Brava, Empuriabrava is a coastal residential village in the municipality of Castello d’Empuries located between the towns of Rosas and San Pere Pescador, north of the Costa Brava, in the province of Girona.

It is surrounded by Parque Natural de las Marismas del Ampurdán, better known by its name in Catalan “Parc dels Aiguamollsde L’Empordà” and the Golfo de Rosas. This population is also known as the Marina of Empuriabrava. It has 23km of navigable canals, a flying club and 5000 berths, being considered the largest residential marina in Europe.

In the Marina de Empuriabrava, you will find a wide range of activities to do, as all kinds of water sports, diving, fishing, hiking, biking, golf, horse riding, helicopter flights and even flying in the wind tunnel for the more daring ones, endless options of activitieson land, sea or air for you. Culture and history very close to Empuriabrava

In addition to the sun and beach, if you like history or just enjoy a nice walk to know a little more about the place, in Castelló d’Empuries you can spend an afternoon walking through its architectural heritage, explore a medieval villa alone or with a guided tour to discover the most interesting details of this place. In the old town some of the highlights are buildings like Convento de Sant Domenech, el Portal de la Gallarda, which was the entrance to a fortified Castelló in the Middle Ages, el Pont Vell that crosses the Muga River, the “Lonja” o la Basílica de Santa María, known as the Cathedral of L´Empordà. All of them are held in a beautiful old town just 5 minutes from the beach.
