It is called the white island, because there is something special about it. For decades, Ibiza has been attracting visitors coming from all corners of the globe. It features heavenly beaches, white houses, turquoise clear waters and a unique atmosphere in the Mediterranean.

Ibiza is an island located 79 km from the Iberian Peninsula, oppositethe township of Denia that, along with Mallorca, Menorca, Formentera and several smaller islets, form the set of the Balearic Islands. It is a relatively small but accessible island since it is only 41 km from north to south. Its international airport is located in the municipality of San Josep de Sa Talaia, just 10 km from the city.

Until the 60s-70s, Ibiza was just another island in the Mediterranean, where its people lived mostly from fishing and agriculture and the island was still a real unknown spot for mass tourism. It was then that, when the first hippies began to disembark here, attracted toits beautiful beaches, its privileged climate, friendly people, good energy and mysticism surrounding the island. That was the trigger for the world to know about the island and it gradually gained worldwide fame.
