The Chocolate Museum is located in a typical 19th century house where we can see the process of preparing this sweet as well as a small sample of old objects and machinery used in making chocolate in the past.
To visit the museum you don’t need any reservation unless you go in a group of more than 15 people, then you would have to book. If you do not go in a group, you just have to go to the front door of the factory and wait there as visits are made every hour. There are 3 morning visits (at 10, 11 and 12 hours) and 3 in the afternoon (at 16, 17 and 18 hours), they are all free.
Upon entering the factory, the chocolate smell is intense and floods everything. After placing a uniform protection to visitors, a fantastic journey commences in the factory explaining the history of the brand and the entire manufacturing process. We can also observe the machinery that was formerly used for manufacturing and taste the different types of chocolate manufactured there.
