In 1973, more than 40 years ago, there were only four stands of hippies focused on the few tourists who came to the island. Today thousands of people pass through the market walking past 500 stands offering goods of all kinds like crafts, fashion, footwear, jewelry, artwork, as well as countless food stalls.The market is held on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 06:00pm.
If you are traveling with children you can take them to the Hippy Kids, an area for the little ones where they can perform various activities such as designing wreaths or their own t-shirt, they will surely have a blast. Next to the playground there is a shaded area called El Bosque where you find beautiful craft stands with materials brought from around the world.
Every Wednesday from 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm, in the area of the tent you will find all kinds of music live, from flamenco, reggae, electronic music.You can get to Punta Arabi Hippy Market by car, by bus and even by boat landing at Cala Martina.
The hippy market in Punta Arabi, has become, over the years, a benchmark of Ibiza and a must for all tourists coming to the island.
