La Playa del Palmeral is an urban beach but it is located in a quiet, residential area known as el Palmeral, near the mouth of the Aguasriver.
The beach is 1550m long and 50m wide and its occupancy level is low, so it is ideal for those seeking tranquility. It is a beach with medium grain and darksand.
Playa del Palmeral is one of the best situated beaches of Mojacar, in addition to having very transparent and clear waters of high quality, so it has been awarded the Blue Flag by the EU, although it has a few amenities, such as showers, dustbins, cleaning service and warning signs. It is perfect for families and lovers of remote beaches.
Do not confuse with the Playa del PalmeralAlmería, a beach with much more equipment and a greater level of occupation.
