Palma de Mallorca has several markets but undoubtedly the most important and visited is the Mercado del Olivar. This fantastic market is in the old town just a short walk from Plaza de España.

The Mercado del Olivar has 117 stops in which smells, tastes and colors flood everything. The building was built in 1951 in the city center and is an original and fun visit, and a perfect place to mingle with the locals and learn about their customs. Among its narrow streets walk the Mallorcans and hundreds of tourists every day, camera in hand to capture the essence of this wonderful market.
