Pirata beach

We could say that this beach is the most important and popular of Caños de Meca in Barbate. A long tongue of fine sand with crystal clear waters, where you can enjoy really cool bars.

Here you will find local landmarks such as La Jaima Meccarola, a mythical place in Playa del Pirata featuring Arabic décor. It is located on a cliff where you can enjoy the rhythm of the music and astounding sunsets that will leave you speechless.

Pirata, situated in the heart of Caños de Meca, is one of the most important tourist areas of Barbate, located between Parque Natural de la Breña, las Marismas and Cabo de Trafalgar.
Despite the inordinate growth of tourism in the area, Caños de Meca retains its essence. By walking the streets, you will still be able to breathe the old bohemian atmosphere of the past.
