Playa de Muro in Alcudia is located north of the island of Mallorca and occupies 5.5 km from the coast of the Great Bay of Alcudia. Located between Can Picafort and Playa de Alcudia, it is a very popular area, perhaps the most touristic of Mallorca, but that does not detract one iota of charm to this beautiful sandy area, plus being so big does not usually give the feeling it is very crowded even in high season; in the closest area to the natural park the occupancy rate is low.

The tourist area offers sunbeds and deck chairs, lifeguard service, showers, toilets, eight walkways for the disabled, leisure activities and fun water sports such as pedal rental, parasailing, inflatable banana floating platforms games for children, etc. Playa de Muro is awarded every year with Blue Flag of the European Union that guarantees its optimum environmental conditions and facility levels.
Muro beach is reached by the C-712 road linking Puerto de Alcudia and Artà, before reaching Can Picafort you will find this wonderful beach more than 5 km long.
In addition to the taxi service, there are regular bus lines that connect to various attractions of the island such as Playa de Formentor, Sa Calobra, Port de Sóller, etc.
