On the left side of this beach is a cliff, while the other side is where the mouth of the river of the same name sits, forming a wetland inhabited by migratory birds. It is a residential and tourist style beach that is visited by numerous beachgoers during the summer months.

– S’Arenal d’es Casat

Also known as Ses Assussenes due to the large amount of white lilies surrounding the sea. It is a sandy beach that is 50 meters long and 20 meters wide and is usually not very busy; making it an ideal place to enjoy some peace and quiet next to some moderate waves. It is also home to a large system of dunes whose limits are marked by the Son Real pine forest, junipers and low brush. It has a low inclination which makes it ideal for swimming.

– Can Picafort

A few kilometers from Santa Margalida is Can Picafort, a town with 9 km of coast full of sandy beaches. One of its beaches renowned for its excellence is the beach of Son Serra de Marina, with crystal clear waters, 400 meters long and a width of 100 meters. The fine sand is white. It is located between two pristine beaches, Sa Canova and Son Real, which can be visited on the same day. It is one of the most popular beaches for swimming as well as water sports such as windsurfing.
