The Montañas Puig Campana, Sierra Helada and Sierra Bernia lets Benidorm maintain a privileged climate throughout the year. The mountains protect this city from the cold in winter and the Levante wind, creating a very soft microclimate during the spring, autumn and winter, also maintaining a water temperature suitable for swimming almost all year; summers in turn are warm.
The leisure and entertainment offering of this city is endless whether for children, adults or older people. Theme parks like Terra Mítica, water parks like Aqualandia or Mundomar, the possibility of diving, sailing, outdoor shows, concerts, golf or nightlife, Benidorm offers absolutely everything the visitor needs, along with a wide range of cuisine, with many restaurants of all kinds to sample rich fish, rice, traditional Valencian cuisine, or international cuisine.
One of the most famous places in the city is the beautiful Balcón del Mediterráneo, a beautiful viewpoint that separates the long beaches of Levante from the Poniente from which you can observe the city Benidorm and the immensity of the sea. But there is not only huge, bustling beaches, as the city hides small wild spots like Cala Ximo and Cala de l´Almadrava where those looking for a place to relax and enjoy the tranquility will be happy.
One of the prides of the city of Benidorm is its fantastic promenade designed in a way that recreates cliffs and sea waves. It features access to the beach, a wide two-way bike lane, toilets, parking and even there are areas for meditation.

The city is also known for its health tourism. Tourists come to Benidorm not only attracted by the fantastic weather and sea, here there are fantastic hospitals, as well Spa & Wellness centers which have a wide range of services to make visitors enjoy beauty treatments or relaxation to complement a fantastic holiday.
During the day there are plenty of things to do in Benidorm, but by the evening, the fun continues, as there are plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues that make this city one of the most fun on the Mediterranean coast.
If you do not have enough from what Benidorm offers, or want to know different places, there are many options: you can take a trip to Altea, a beautiful and much quieter city just 13 kilometers away. The old town of Altea its a labyrinth of whitewashed houses bedecked with plants and flowers, whose pink roofs stand on the top, including its two famous beautiful blue domes. A beautiful postcard, one of the most photographed towns in the Alicante coast and a place that has inspired artists and painters for decades.
Or visite the Valle de Guadalest, which, between nature, hides precious typical villages of whitewashed houses and the famous Castillo Guadalest; for those who enjoy the sea, there are boat trips to Isla de Benidorm or Isla de Tabarca. As you see there are so many options that there is no time for boredom in Benidorm.
