Alcudia beach

North of the island of Mallorca, between two bays, form some of the most privileged beaches of the Mediterranean, this is one of them.

Playa de Alcudia is the most popular beach, the most accessible crowded of the city, located in Port d’Alcudia, in the Bay of Alcudia, we could say that this is the most spectacular Bay of all.

This beautiful and very long sandy beach 7 kilometers in length, is considered the largest of the Balearic Islands and has a pleasant promenade of several kilometers and is awarded the Blue Flag of the European Union.
Always in excellent condition for its proper maintenance, the Playa de Alcudia stands out for its fine white sand and the flat terrain, making it an ideal beach for families with children.

In it highlights hundreds of deckchairs and parasols dotted on the sand, a variety of restaurants, a wide leisure offer, playgrounds, rental equipment for water sports and good facilities in general, for example there are several lifeguard stations and police. Along the beach can be seen dikes where the passenger boarding is done in the tourist “golondrinas” (swallows), that make boat rides across the island.

The beach could be divided into two sections; one much frequented that runs parallel to the promenade that starts next to the marina to the area of the Ciudad Blanca and another from there, where the beach is slightly wider and less crowded until we finally reach Playa del Muro.

The quality and color of its waters, the entire atmosphere and white sand have nothing to envy the famous Caribbean beaches.
