Cala Forn is a beautiful beach located in the urbanization Tres Calas in Ametlla de Mar. The cliffs on both sides of the beach, where the pines and nature caress the sea, protect the beach from winds so its waters are usually very quiet, also it is a very shallow beach of fine golden sand, making it the ideal place to go with your family and young children.
Cala Forn has been awarded the blue flag for the quality of its waters, the beach cleanliness and its good facilities such as showers, wooden walkway, restrooms, rental hammocks, kayaks and paddleboats, a rescuer and 2 magnificent bars that are shaded by huge pines, where you can taste delicious dishes of meat or fresh grilled fish. Or just cool off with an ice cream, a glass of sangria and even cocktails.
Those who like to dive, do not forget the pipe and glasses because it is a perfect place to dive near the rocks and enjoy the seabed area.
It is not a very large beach, and being in a residential area, it remains unspoiled; despite its incredible beauty and being considered one of the most beautiful of the Costa Dorada, the occupancy level is that of a medium sized beach.
How to get to Cala Forn ?
It is accessed by car from the N340 entering at the Tres Calas diversion, and then by just following the signs. There is a parking area next to the beach access. Important: Access to the beach is by stairs, so that people with disabilities are taken into account. There is an access available to get the car to the sand, but is not always open.
