Cala Mitjana (Menorca, Balearic Islands)

Cala Mitjana is about 140m in length and is located within a protected area, in a Natural Area to protect the species. A paradise south of the island belonging to the municipality of Ferreries, near Cala Galdana, where we can also easily access other beaches like Cala Escorxada, Cala Fustam or Cala Trebaluger.

Its rocky environment surrounded by cliffs make this cove the perfect place to making jumps from the top. The most daring ones will enjoy doing the jumps and hops off these cliffs of about ten meters. Be aware that you must take all possible precautions during the jump as accidents for performing such practices can be serious.

From this beach, following the beautiful road of Cavalls you can make a nice excursion to the neighboring beaches of Cala Escorxada, Cala Fustam or Cala Trebaluger. It is surrounded by a beautiful nature trail enjoying an idyllic landscape. Remember to wear good shoes and carry some water.

How to get here:

To reach Cala Mitjana follow the signs leading to Cala Galdana and you have to turn left before arriving. It is a well-known and popular beach, so it is advisable to arrive a bit earlier to park the car in the parking lot. After parking the vehicle, you will have to walk about 15 minutes.
