Cala Nova is located just 6 km from Santa Eulalia and consists of a strip of fine sand about 250m in length, in a surrounded wild environment of a pine forest, where you can shelter in the shade in the heat of the day and enjoy its transparent turquoise waters. It is frequented by tourists and residents of the nearby Es Canar tourist area on the right side of the beach; on your left you will find another small cove called Cala Llenya which is well-known, family friendly and a quiet beach.
There are several restaurants along the beach, with different types of cuisine from traditional to more modern, and a snack bar in the sand to cool off or to eat something. Although it is a small beach, pay attention to the flags signaling in rescue stations, as winds and currents can be strong in this part of the island so caution is required. On windy days, it is one of the few beaches on Ibiza where you can surf, so it is well known by surfers on the island.
How to get to Cala Nova beach ?
The fastest way to reach Cala Nova beach from Es Canar is this: 100 meters before the parking of this tourist area, there is a road to the left. Take the second road on the left and when you reach a crossroads, turn right. The beach is at the end of this street
