Granadella beach is a spectacular cove south of Jávea, near the Cape Nao. It has been nominated for several years as the best beach in Spain by a famous TV show. As in all the southern area of Jávea, it is surrounded by high cliffs in a still unspoiled and wild privileged enclave. Access is via a road that runs next to a thick Mediterranean pine forest.
You will surprise yourself with its crystalline waters blue turquoise and privileged seabeds, Granadella beach is well known among diving enthusiasts and there are several known routes. No wonder it’s a very popular beach and many boats sail here to enjoy its waters as it has a buoyed area.
In Granadella beach there are good services such as rental chairs and hammocks, bars, restrooms, parking, lifeguard. You can go water skiing or scuba diving in summer. A floating platform where children will have fun is installed. All these services, the beauty of the place and cleanliness have given the place,for several years in a row the Blue Flag of the EU. This makes it a rather crowded beach in summer and the occupation rate is high.
Sunbathing, scuba dive or snorkel, kayaking or eating a good “arroz a banda”, are some of the activities you can enjoy in this wonderful place. If you travel to Jávea don’t miss it.
It has a parking lot a few meters from the beach, although it is recommended to arrive early in the morning to take place as it is a well-known and popular beach.
