Hiervabuena beach

At the southern end of the cliffs of Barbate, province of Cadiz, is located this beach, a wild beach of fine golden sand lapped by crystal clear waters. A beautiful tongue sand of 920 meters surrounded by a beautiful landscape which highlights the dunes teeming with vegetation and lush pine forests.

The beach is within the limits of Parque Natural La Breña and Marismas de Barbat, a magical place. At the north extends a high cliff, which features the remains of quarries and a water tank. Beside it, a path ascends to reach Torre del Tajo.

At one end of the beach there is a nudist spot. From there, you can reach Parque Natural del Acantilado andPinar de Barbate. This place is definitely a true ecological treasure with a coastal strip of great natural and scenic value featuring 100 meter cliffs which host a large representation of the Mediterranean avifauna.

Those who enjoy the atmosphere and life style of surfers, will find the Playa de los Lances very close to here, where they can enjoy the wind and waves. At Parque Natural de los Acantilados de Barbate, this beach is one of the quintessential surf beaches of our coastline. Featuring very clean and fresh water, fine golden sand with excellent cleaning conditions, which is a surfer’s paradise due to its entertaining waves.
