Sant Jordi beach

A beautiful beach located at one of the ends of the Gulf of Sant Jordi, at the foot of a castle-fortress of Templar origin.
At the foot of Castle Sant Jordi d’Alfama, north of the town of l’Ametlla de Mar, we find this small but beautiful beach of fine golden sand. Sant Jordi Beach is in a beautiful environment.

The beach has showers, WCs, sun loungers for hire and a beach bar in the shade where to drink or eat, there is also the lifeguard service of the Red Cross. At the top, there is an area enabled for picnics and children’s play.

Occupancy levels in July and August are usually high, but the rest of the year is very quiet.

How to get Sant Jordi beach?

Access is easy, from the N-340, exit at Calafat, turn right at the first roundabout towards Sant Jordi d’Alfama beach, then you have to cross the urbanization and the marina and follow the signs to the beach. There is Parking and disabled access. It can also be reached on foot if you are staying in one of the houses or rent apartments nearby.
