That Bil Bil beach is one of the favorite beaches in Benalmádena says a lot about it. You will fall in love with its great location near the port La Marina and fine golden sand. The castle was built in 1927 by the Hermann family, who unfortunately could not enjoy it because of the outbreak of the Spanish civil war.
After the war, the castle passed through different owners until reaching hands of the City Council, which manages it today. Both the interior and exterior are beautiful, completely built in an Arab style; its red walls, windows and half arch reliefs decorate this beautiful building. Today the castle is a cultural center utilized for celebrating weddings, exhibitions and concerts.
The beach is surrounded by a beautiful promenade dotted with palm trees along of more than 1 km. Bil Bil Beach is a wonderful sandbank of 400m long situated between Arroyo de Miel Beach and Santa Ana beach. The beach features the famous chiringuito Maracas Beach, a place to enjoy the sun and delicious food during the day but also during the evening; at sunset, it is a perfect place to enjoy the Málaga nights with the rhythm of some good music, delicious cocktails and mojitos served in a fabulous atmosphere. The beach bar has an extensive rental service of hammocks and parasols.
