The Llarga beach in Salou is a beach of great natural beauty that offers an image far different from the typical crowded beaches that most people have in mind when they think of Salou.
It is a bit away from the center of Salou, a semi-urban beach of about 600m in length, it is surrounded by forests and a landscaped promenade that gives it a special attraction and that makes it very different from the beaches in the center like Levante beach or Poniente beach. The beach has fine golden sand and short waves, making it ideal for families with children, although it is not as shallow as other beaches in the area.
This is a beach with many basic services such as toilets, showers, cleaning service, rental of pedalos, beach bar and lifeguard. It is a very popular beach for English tourism during high season.
You can get to Llarga beach in Salou by car or bus (línea Salou-Tarragona). Llarga beach does not have access for the disabled.
