One afternoon in the Marina d’Empuriabrava
The Marina d’Empuriabrava is known as the Venice of the Costa Brava, and consists of a network of navigable channels of over 30km and 5000 moorings, where there are urbanized apartment complexes and houses in which boats and luxury yachts can be moored at their doorsteps. There are also commercial areas and a wealth of entertainment if you want to enjoy until dawn.

Visit the Natural Park “Aiguamolls de l’Empordà”

The Aiguamolls Natural Park is the second largest wetland in Catalonia and has a large plant and bird diversity.

If you like pristine beaches immersed in nature, then you’ll love this. Playa de Can Comes offers you 4km of sand dunes and lagoons where you can relax and forget about the world. It is part of the Parque Natural de los Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, so you will not find any services, just sand and sea. Remember to take food and drink if you plan to spend the day.
Visit the Ruins of Ampurias
Just 25km from Ampuriabrava is the archaeological site of Empùries; this was the gateway of the Greeks and Romans to the Iberian Peninsula and here you will find the only site in Spain where coexist the remains of a Greek and a Roman city. In the middle of the route there is a museum where you can learn a lot about ancient times and also can take a guided tour to the Roman area; a fun dramatized visit to the site that you will surely love.
